Take control of your Windows PC … from the Command Prompt! In-Person
Learn how to use the Command Prompt in Windows to: generate flat and hierarchical file and directory listings; create new directories; copy, move, and remove files; find specific character sequences in text files; recall and edit previous commands; direct outputs of commands into files; automate reuse of commands through short scripts; and more.
Prerequisites: Basic familiarity with Windows drive, directory and file structure. No programming knowledge assumed. Please bring a Windows computer with administrator account for the hands-on exercises, which constitute the majority of the workshop.
