Research Data Toolkit Series - Data Visualization with ggplot2 In-Person
Presented in partnership with AU Girls Who Code!
This hands-on workshop will demonstrate the basics of data visualization using ggplot2, an open-source data visualization package for the R programming language. We will introduce best practices for visualizing data and effectively communicating the insights you want to highlight. Then participants will practice using the RStudio interface to create some simple graphs from sample datasets. Participants will practice not only creating the graphs but also using basic commands to adjust the visual styling of their graphs, including colors, size, shapes and labels.
